Board of Directors

CREA Mont-Blanc’s activities are governed by a board of directors who come from diverse backgrounds: well-known researchers, business managers and mountain professionals.

 

Nigel Gilles Yoccoz, President/Chairman, Professor at the Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø; member of the Norweigan Academy of Science and Letters Natural Science Division; member of the scientific committee of the French Arctic Initiative.

Richard Raquillet, Vice-Chairman, Civil engineer and former business manager; MS, Northwestern University.

Joel Didillon, Treasurer, Business owner in the tourism industry, former President of Best Western Hotels, France.

Anne Loison, Research director with the French National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS) at the Laboratoire d’Ecologie Alpine (LECA) at the Université de Savoie in Chambéry, France.

Denis Poussin, Mountain Guide, sports instructor and coordinator of professional training for mountain professions at the Chamonix Mont-Blanc high school.

Philippe Charlot, Director of the French National Railway Corporation (SNCF) for the Languedoc-Roussillon region.

Nelly Morisot, graduate of Science-Po, Paris with a degree in Public Admisintration; Master of Environmental Economics from the University of Grenoble; an avid wildlife photographer.

 

Annual report

As an independent non-profit, we aim to be as transparent as possible. That is why we make variety of documents outlining and explaining how we function available to the public. However, many of these are only available in French. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more information.
